AvaTrade Review: European Entity, MT5 and Costs
A desk review of AvaTrade’s regional entity structure, MT5 access and the costs to check before deciding whether to include it on your broker shortlist.

Our assessment
AvaTrade is a candidate for readers comparing a European contracting entity with a wider international group offering. For the MT5 tools on this site, focus on the actual MetaTrader account and its instrument specifications. Additional branded platforms should not be assumed to run MQL5 software.
The company holding your account matters
AvaTrade’s official jurisdiction information identifies AVA Trade EU Ltd as regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland under reference C53877. Its global comparison lists different companies, products and regulatory arrangements. Applying through another group company changes the applicable framework; a shared brand is not a shared compensation scheme.

Separate platform availability from compatibility
AvaTrade publishes an MT5 offering. Confirm which instruments and account conditions apply to your entity, then test the exact EA against the broker’s symbols. Check trading permissions, order filling mode, stops, minimum lots, netting or hedging, and any strategy restrictions. We have not independently verified this provider’s handling of the research EAs on this site.

Trading and non-trading costs
Use the current fees page and the exact instrument conditions together. Compare the bid/ask spread during your intended trading session, financing for the intended holding period, conversion charges and any inactivity or administration conditions. A platform being free to download does not make trading free.
If one illustrative one-lot FX quote has a 1.0-pip spread and another has 1.5 pips, the spread difference is USD 5 when pip value is USD 10. Financing and other charges can outweigh that difference on a longer holding period. This is a calculation example, not an AvaTrade price quote.

For publishers considering AvaPartner
AvaPartner describes CPA, revenue-share and hybrid arrangements. Availability of a model does not mean that a Danish publisher or all of its traffic countries are approved. Obtain the written country list, contracting affiliate entity, qualification conditions, promotional restrictions and payment rules before adding tracking links.
