TF RSI Trend Pullback Assistant
A completed-bar H1 assistant that waits for RSI to recover from a pullback while price remains in the EMA 200 direction and ADX confirms minimum trend strength.
One EA only: MQL5 source, EX5, README and checksums.

Signal definition
- For a long, the completed close must be above EMA 200 and ADX 14 at least 18.
- RSI 14 on the prior completed bar must be below 40; the latest completed RSI must recover above 45.
- A short requires price below EMA 200, prior RSI above 60 and latest RSI below 55.
- Spread, 06:00–20:00 broker-server window, daily lock and one-position guard must pass.
- Stop is 2 ATR 14, target is 1.8R and volume is sized from the estimated stop loss.
Controls and parameters
| Timeframe | H1 | Risk | 0.25%, hard maximum 1.00% |
|---|---|---|---|
| EMA / RSI | 200 / 14 | ADX | 14, minimum 18 |
| Stop / target | 2 ATR / 1.8R | Daily lock | 1.50% from EA/day reference |
| Spread | 1.5 pips | Window | 06:00–20:00 server time |
Wait for recovery
The rule seeks momentum recovery inside an existing trend instead of buying an RSI extreme. EMA and ADX are regime filters; ATR is used only for volatility-scaled risk distance.
Lag and correlation
A high ADX can overlap a late trend, price can cross EMA quickly, and correlated charts can multiply risk. The daily lock blocks new entries but cannot cap gap losses.
