Rules

How a marker appears

  1. Long: close above EMA 200 and ADX 14 at least 18.
  2. Prior completed RSI 14 below 40; latest completed RSI above 45.
  3. Short: close below EMA 200, prior RSI above 60 and latest RSI below 55.
  4. ATR 14 is used only to position the arrow away from the candle.
Interpretation

Momentum recovery in context

The tool separates a pullback condition from the trend filter and displays only a completed-bar observation.

Limitations

Persistent extremes

RSI may remain extreme, ADX can be late, and the EMA filter can fail during abrupt regime changes.

Validation workflow

  1. Copy to MQL5/Indicators and refresh Navigator.
  2. Attach it to the intended timeframe.
  3. Compare signals in ranges, trends and news volatility.
  4. Define stop, size and invalidation separately.
