Pepperstone Review: Entity, Accounts and MT5
A document-based review of Pepperstone for EEA and international readers, with account-cost checks and clear limits on what we have independently tested.

Our assessment
Pepperstone is a useful candidate for a shortlist built around MetaTrader and a comparison of spread-inclusive versus commission-based pricing. Platform choice is the main reason to investigate it. Whether it fits depends on your country, legal entity, instruments and actual all-in costs.
Start with the entity
The EEA document set reviewed here identifies Pepperstone EU Limited, regulated by CySEC under licence 388/20. The provider states that legal documents vary by entity and that the applicable documents are shown during application. Do not transfer protections or account terms from one group company to another. The reviewed EU site excludes residents of Belgium, Spain and the United States.

Standard versus Razor
Standard and Razor use different pricing structures. Standard builds FX compensation into its spread; Razor combines a raw-spread style quote with a separate commission. The provider’s help pages and current account schedule should be checked together because specific figures can differ by platform and currency. Do not compare a minimum raw spread with an average spread-inclusive price.
A fair worked example is hypothetical: at USD 10 per pip per lot, 1.2 pips with no separate commission costs USD 12 for one round trip. A 0.2-pip spread plus USD 3.50 per side costs USD 9, before financing and slippage. These are calculator examples, not current Pepperstone quotes.

For MT5 and EAs
Pepperstone lists MT5 alongside other platforms. An MT5 account is the relevant starting point for the tools on this site. Before using an EA, check the exact symbol names, minimum volume, lot step, stop distance, filling mode and whether the account uses hedging or netting. A platform being available does not verify an EA’s execution or profitability.

Reasons to investigate — and open questions
- Several platform choices and two distinct FX pricing approaches create a meaningful comparison.
- Check average spreads during your trading hours, not a marketing minimum.
- Confirm financing on your exact long and short instruments, account-currency commission, and any conversion charges.
- Request the entity-specific deposit, withdrawal and complaint terms before funding.
Affiliate availability is separate from client eligibility
Pepperstone has an affiliate programme that includes educational sites and EA or indicator developers among its intended partners. Country and model restrictions apply. A Danish publisher’s acceptance and permitted traffic countries require written approval; a programme page is not a contract or an approval for this site.
